Our commitment

We respect personal privacy and aim to handle information lawfully, fairly, securely, and only for clear professional purposes. We seek to collect no more personal information than is reasonably necessary for the relevant enquiry, communication, recruitment matter, verification, client service, or legal obligation.

Scope and who we are

This policy applies to this website, its project-enquiry experience, its current client-portal interface, and communications initiated through website links. It does not automatically govern an unrelated third-party website or service.

Technical information

Our hosting or security provider may automatically record limited request data—such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device type, date and time, requested page, referring page, and diagnostic or security events—to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website.

How and why we use information

Depending on the interaction and applicable law, we use information to:

• respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, and discuss engineering requirements;
• manage client relationships and deliver, document, inspect, or support projects;
• process recruitment, work, credential, and employment-verification communications;
• schedule calls, meetings, site visits, and inspections;
• maintain operational records and comply with contractual, accounting, tax, professional, safety, and legal duties;
• protect our website, systems, users, personnel, rights, and property; and
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and resolve disputes.

Where applicable, processing may rely on your request or consent, steps connected with a contract, our legitimate professional and security interests, or a legal obligation. You may decline optional information, although we may then be unable to respond fully or provide a requested service.

How website enquiries work

The website does not silently submit enquiry-form data to an AECPS database. The information remains in your browser while you complete the form. You then choose to open a prepared email, open a prepared WhatsApp message, or place a telephone call.

Once you choose one of those channels, the relevant email, telephone, internet, or messaging provider processes the communication under its own terms and privacy practices. Please avoid sending highly sensitive personal, financial, medical, or credential information unless it is necessary and an appropriate secure channel has been agreed with us.

Cookies and third-party services

AECPS does not currently deploy advertising or analytics cookies through the website code. A cookie-consent banner is therefore not presently shown. If optional analytics, advertising, embedded media, or similar technologies are introduced, this policy and the consent experience will be updated where required.

The website requests fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser may send technical request data, including your IP address, to Google when loading those files. Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp, telephone, and email services activate only when you choose them. Those providers operate independently and may process information under their own privacy policies.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose relevant information only when reasonably necessary to authorised AECPS personnel; professional advisers; hosting, communications, information-technology, accounting, or project-support providers; project stakeholders acting within an authorised purpose; or public authorities when required by law or necessary to protect legitimate rights.

Some internet, cloud, font, email, or messaging providers may process technical or communication data outside Nepal. Where we select a provider, we aim to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and the available service. When you independently choose a third-party link or channel, that provider’s own terms govern its processing.

Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, our relationship with you, project and warranty needs, applicable limitation periods, and legal, professional, tax, accounting, audit, or dispute requirements. Information no longer required should be securely deleted, anonymised, or archived where continued retention is legally necessary.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. However, no website, device, email, messaging service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us promptly if you believe information connected with AECPS has been lost, misused, or accessed without authority.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access or a copy, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction where available, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis.

If the European Union or United Kingdom data-protection rules apply to a particular interaction, additional rights may include data portability and the right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority. These rights are not absolute; lawful recordkeeping, professional, contractual, security, and legal requirements may limit a request. We will explain a material refusal where the law requires us to do so.

Children’s information

This website is intended for professional and business enquiries and is not directed to children. A parent or lawful guardian should contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authority so that we can assess and address the matter.
